Once you have been approved as an activator for the SLAM JAM program, you will be sent an invitation to be an administrator within the Clubspark Product.
As an administrator you can invite other administrators to assist you in the management of the program. See: How to Add, Edit and Remove Administrators
To create a program within Clubspark.
Step 1: Head to the coaching module and click on Slam Jam
Step 2: You will need to complete the 3 part Checklist.
- Accept terms and conditions
- Set up Stripe : You will need to set up a Stripe Account - Stripe is the payment provider used to collect the online transactions. This is mandatory as when the players sign up for their program, they will receive the branded kit. We have a help guide on : Registering with Stripe
- Create a Coaching Team: - this is where you will invite the coaches to run the programs. This will need to be completed before the program can go live - see helpguide: Coaching Team Management
Step 3: Once your checklist is showing green - you can then create a program. Click Create a New Course.
Step 4: Enter the details.
- Status: When creating your program, until you are ready for it to be live and available to book (public), you can set it to Hidden.
Hidden: The course is not available to anyone. Use this setting while you are making changes to avoid confusion.
Public :The course will be available to all and will appear in search results.
Direct link only: The course will not appear in search results, but will be available via direct links.
Archived :The course is no longer available for your venue and will be moved into your archived courses.
- Reference: This is for internal use, it is help to put a date.
- Additional Information: This is pre-loaded for you but you can add additional information if you wish.
- Send Reminder Emails: If you enable reminder emails anyone who is booked onto your sessions will receive a reminder email on the morning of the session. The email will contain information about the time and location of the session. You can optionally choose to add your own message to this in the Reminder Email Information field.
- Start date: This is the first session date, it will create 6 sessions from this date.
- Capacity: This can be changed to what you want, it will show as course if full after it has reached capacity.
- Key contact name, email and phone: These are shown publicly, so you may want to put a generic number.
- Costs
Basketball England have set the costs, however, you are able to add additional markup for the club.
- £19.03 to Basketball England
- £23 to you the club
- A POS transaction fee (3% of session fee) + £0.25 per transaction to ClubSpark
Adding a value in the club mark up will change the price of the program.
- Cancellations : If enabled your participants will be able to cancel their registration via their account pages. They will be able to cancel up until the start time of the last session.
Auto- Refunds: If enabled your participants who paid online will receive an automated refund when they cancel. You will set the time the auto-refund is enabled. If they cancel after this date, they will not receive a refund.
Step 5: Session Defaults
Venue: This is the location of course, if it is not showing as available please reach out to Basketball England support for this to be added: Basketball England Support
Coach: This will pull from your coaching team. See : Coaching Team Management
Session start time: This is the time the session will occur for the full course.
Resources: At this time, ignore this section. It is a feature where you can reserve courts, which is coming at a later date.
Step 6: Save Course
Once your course is created you can view the course from the Direct Link tab:
Here you will have the option of Open Link - view the link or to copy the link or QR code to advertise your course.
