Your homepage will also include a map showing the location of your venue.
Navigation
When creating your website, your pages will display in default order. However, this is something that you can edit and change at any time on any of your web pages including the Home page.
- The navigation order 1= first tab in the website
- Navigation text is what shows in the Tab
Venue Information
The second section to complete is the main heading and information about your venue. If you want text on the banner image, enter it in the Main Header Text - you can also leave it blank. The main header and subheader text will shown in the positions below:
Introduction - This text will sit next to the gallery photos.
Content - will sit below the gallery photos. Note: You can add hyperlinks to other pages or another website, as well as photos.
Meta Description: These are HTML attributes that provide a summary of your web page and will be displayed in the search engine results.
Using Images
As a reminder, you should have permission or a license to use any images you use in your materials and online if you are not the actual copyright holder. Please do not download and use images you find online, on social media, or various other platforms without the permission of the photographer (or other copyright owner).
You may think others are downloading and sharing photos all the time so how can it be illegal? Although this may be a common occurrence, it's copyright infringement to use images you do not have rights to. You should not take an image you sourced online and post it on your website or include it in your materials unless you have permission or a license to do so.
Cover & Gallery Photos
You can upload a cover photo, 5 gallery photos, and a partner logo. Please follow the recommended specifications for each upload and make sure to save after each one is done. To see the recommended sizes they show under the area to add the photo. For the Main photo, this should be a banner shape. You can resize the photos in the photo editor.
When adding a gallery photo, you will need to do this one at a time. To add the galley photo, click on Browse for Images. Then Upload your photo from you computer. Once uploaded the photos will stay in your libary for use later.
Once uploaded then select Choose, you can also resize, edit, crop the photos as needed.
Then click save, you can then add another image. To view how the page looks, click on View Page online, found at the top of the screen.
Partner Logos
You can add three partner/sponsor logos to your home page. To do this, you need to add one at a time and then save. You must include the Name and Website. If someone clicks on the logo on the website it will direct them to the partner logo.
Step 1: Click on Browse for Images - upload and choose the logo of your partner/sponsor
The logos appear at the base of the Home Page under Our Partners.
Important Information Banner
This is a great feature to provide news about the facility, such as upcoming tournaments, new clinics, or camps, News etc. The Information Banner when enabled will show under your main head image.
You can choose to display it by sliding the blue bar to the right.

Do you have links to other websites? If you do, then make sure the links are embedded within the hyperlink. To do this Uploading Files and Images to Your Website This should resolve the issue.Try and use hyperlinks rather than long URLs, it not only looks better, it will help with formating. |

Sometimes a word can be too long, as shown in this example. If you insert a space in between the words it will resolve itself. Less is more with websites. Having long reams of text makes the page look cluttered. |
