Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. This can be used to track session duration, page views, bounce rate and more.

How to Set up a New Google Analytics Tracking Code
You can set up Google Analytics here. Your Google Analytics Code should look similar to G-73T8SW9YBF.
Here is a guide with further information on how to create it and find the number: How to set up a Google Analytics Account
Once you have created the account you will then add the code into Clubspark website.
How to Add the Google Analytics Code to my ClubSpark Website
Step 1: Within the Clubspark Admin area go to the Website module
Step 2: Click on the 'Site Settings' tab found in the top right of the page
Step 3: Enter the Google Analytic tracking ID - starting with G-
You will now be able to start to track traffic to your Clubspark website from the Google Analytics page.

How do I update the old UA code to the new GA4 code?
If you previously had a Universal Google Analytics code. On 1st July 2023, Google discontinued the UA code for the new GA4 code, you will have likely been emailed by Google to let you know. The data that is in the UA code will be lost too. So you will need to download this if you want to keep this.

You will need to create the new GA4 code and then add it in as per the steps above.
